Hearing Aids for Pensioners and Veterans (DVA)
You may be eligible for the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (including fully or partially subsidised hearing aids) if you are:
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident or live on Norfolk Island
- 21 years* or older
And you meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Age Pension recipients
- Disability Support Pension (DSP) recipients
- Carer Payment recipients (NOT Carer Allowance)
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs pension recipients
- Some Parenting Payment (single) recipients
- Hold a Pensioner Concession Card (or their spouse)
- Are a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Gold Card holder (or their spouse)
- A Veteran White Card holder for hearing-specific conditions (or their spouse)
- A member of the Australian Defence Force including:
- Permanent Navy
- Regular Army
- Permanent Air Force
- Reserves in continuous full-time service
- Referred by an Inclusive Employment Australia provider (previously Disability Employment Services)
